These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with Dubai Desert Safari Tours, a registered brand of Excursion Point Tourism LLC, licensed by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By completing a booking you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
"Company", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Excursion Point Tourism LLC trading as Dubai Desert Safari Tours. "Guest", "you" and "your" refer to the person or party making the booking. "Tour" refers to any safari, excursion or activity booked through our website www.dubaidesertsafari.tours.
2. Bookings & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation email.
- A booking reference number will be issued upon confirmation. Please retain this for all correspondence.
- It is the guest's responsibility to provide accurate personal details at the time of booking. We are not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information provided.
- Bookings made for minors must be made by a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms on behalf of all participants.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.
- Payment may be made by credit/debit card (Stripe), PayPal, or cash on arrival, as available at the time of booking.
- For cash on arrival bookings, payment is due at the pickup point before the tour commences.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a correction results in a higher price, we will notify you and allow you to cancel for a full refund.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation by the guest — 48 hours or more before the tour: Full refund of any prepaid amount.
- Cancellation by the guest — less than 48 hours before the tour: No refund. The booking fee is forfeited.
- No-show: Guests who do not appear at the designated pickup point at the scheduled time will be treated as a no-show. No refund will be issued.
- Cancellation by the Company: We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, a full refund will be issued or an alternative date offered.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
5. Rescheduling
- Guests may request to reschedule a booking up to 24 hours before the tour date, subject to availability and at our discretion.
- Rescheduling requests should be made by contacting us via WhatsApp or email.
- Rescheduled bookings are non-refundable if cancelled after the change is made.
6. Health, Safety & Participation
- Guests must be in good health and physically capable of participating in desert safari activities.
- Guests with the following conditions are advised to consult their doctor before booking: heart conditions, back or neck problems, pregnancy, epilepsy, high blood pressure, or any other serious medical condition.
- Dune bashing involves intense off-road driving. Guests who feel unwell during the activity must inform the driver immediately.
- Children under 3 years of age are permitted on tours but must not participate in dune bashing or certain adventure activities.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest whose condition is deemed a safety risk.
- Guests must follow all instructions given by our guides and drivers at all times.
7. Pickup & Drop-off
- Hotel and apartment pickups are available in most areas of Dubai. Please provide your full address at the time of booking.
- Guests must be ready at least 10 minutes before the stated pickup time.
- The Company is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses or guests not being ready at the agreed time.
8. Liability
- The Company accepts no liability for personal injury, death, loss or damage to personal belongings during the tour, except where caused by our negligence.
- Guests participate in all activities at their own risk. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering adventure activities.
- The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic losses.
- Our maximum liability to any guest shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest, pandemics, or acts of terrorism.
10. Code of Conduct
- Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests, guides, and the environment.
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted during tours unless specifically provided as part of the package.
- Disruptive, offensive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund.
- Please respect the desert environment — littering is strictly prohibited.
11. Privacy
Personal data collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
